BE'Academy Gebze Branch hosted an important training program that strengthens the professional boundaries of beauty specialists and prioritizes patient safety. The workshop, titled “Acne and Rosacea: The Limits of Intervention and Proper Guidance for Beauty Specialists,” was held with the participation of Dermatologist Specialist Dr. Ufuk Güleç and brought together numerous beauty professionals who want to make a difference in their field.

The workshop, which offered free participation and certificate opportunities, covered in detail the basic mechanisms of acne and rosacea, clinically distinguishable conditions, the limits of applicable care, and risky cases requiring referral to a dermatologist. Participants had the opportunity to learn about proper referral practices through case examples, in addition to theoretical knowledge.

During the training, it was emphasized that beauty specialists are not responsible for diagnosing or treating skin conditions, but that early detection of risk signals on the skin and ethical guidance are professional obligations. It was shared that this approach both increases client trust and strengthens specialist-doctor collaboration.

Our goal at BE'Academy is to bring beauty professionals into the industry who are not only practitioners but also conscious, responsible, and capable of providing accurate guidance. In line with this, we continue to contribute to raising professional standards through the training and workshops we organize.

We would like to thank all the professionals who participated in our Acne and Rosacea Workshop, and especially Specialist Dr. Ufuk Güleç for sharing his valuable knowledge with us.
